Nonagram

Terms of Service

Effective 5 August 2026

Welcome to Nonagram! These terms are an agreement between you and Aigentbird ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Nonagram, you agree to them. We've kept them short and in plain language — please actually read them.

1. What Nonagram is

Nonagram lets you share photos on private boards with people you invite. Boards are end-to-end encrypted: photos and comments are encrypted on your device before they ever reach us, and only board members hold the keys to read them.

2. Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code — there is no password. Keep access to your email account secure, because anyone who controls it can sign in as you. You must be at least 15 years old (or the digital-consent age where you live) to use Nonagram.

3. Your content

Your photos and words are yours. You keep every right to them. You grant us only the limited license we need to operate the service: storing and transmitting your content (board photos and comments as encrypted data we cannot read, profile pictures as images) to you and the people you share it with. This license ends when the content or your account is deleted.

Only share content you have the right to share, and remember that board members can save or screenshot what you post — encryption protects content from outsiders, not from the people you invited.

4. Boards and roles

Boards have admins, posters, and viewers. Admins manage membership and can remove photos, members, or the whole board. If an admin deletes a board, it is deleted for everyone — photos included. Choose your admins accordingly.

5. Encryption has consequences

End-to-end encryption means we hold the locks but never the keys:

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Nonagram to break the law or to hurt people. In particular, no illegal content, no harassment or exploitation, no infringing other people's rights, and no attacking, probing, or overloading the service itself. We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in such activity, based on valid reports or unlawful activity visible to us.

7. Ending things

You can delete your account at any time, in the app — deletion is immediate and permanent. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We may also discontinue the service; if we ever do, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can save your photos.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Nonagram is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. It's an independent service, and while we care deeply about keeping it running and your memories safe, we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent French law allows, our liability for damages arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months (today: zero). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Nonagram after that means you accept the new terms.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by French law, and French courts have jurisdiction. Questions? Write to [email protected].
