Delete your account

Effective 5 August 2026

You can delete your Nonagram account yourself, from inside the app, in under a minute. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

In the app

1. Open Nonagram and go to your boards overview.
2. Scroll to the Account section at the bottom.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Read the warning — it tells you how many boards you admin.
5. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap the button.

What gets deleted

• Your account and email address.
• Your photos and comments on every board.
• Every board you admin — deleted for all its members, photos included. If you want a board to outlive you, make someone else an admin first.
• Your profile picture and push notification tokens.

Everything above is removed immediately. There is no grace period and no way back — end-to-end encryption means we cannot restore what no longer has keys.

Can't access the app?

Email [email protected] from your account's email address and we'll delete your account for you.
